Stitches...

We spent Friday morning cleaning the house, so it was a little later than normal by the time we got showered and had lunch made. We were sitting at the table eating, and I noticed that John had popped up on Google Chat.  I came over to the computer desk to chat with him (still within sight of the kids) and talked to him for a minute.  I guess Eli had somehow gotten his feet out from under the table, pushed against it, and tipped himself over backwards.  Not sure how as he was in his booster seat, and was eating at the table without the tray attached, but with boys anything is possible. LOL  He split the back of his head open about a centimeter and required stitches.  So, my afternoon was spent at the clinic getting 3 stitches. He did remarkably well.  The clinic staff was amazed at how good he was and shared stories of stitching up kids his age and it taking four adults to hold the hysterical child down.  I barely had my hands resting on him, and he ended up going to sleep before they were even done.  Glad that he did okay, and that it wasn't that bad of an injury!
