Jazz Game

John's parents told the grandkids that if they played Jr. Jazz that they would take them to see a Jazz game in Salt Lake.  On April 1st, we all loaded up our kids, and headed north. We sat clear at the top (I think there were only 4 or 5 rows above us.)  The kids were kind of freaked out at being up that high and having a fear of falling.  Once everyone was settled in, they calmed down a bit.
Here we are in our two rows:  Our family, Tom and Shlisa's family, and Cora and Clint's family sat behind us with Grandma and Grandpa.
The teams warming up.  The Jazz played the LA Lakers.  Somehow, we ended up in Lakerville with all their fans.  It was pretty entertaining.
The kids loved the Questar blimp that floated around and dropped some sort of prize to a lucky fan.
Morgan used the binoculars to see the action better.
Eli and I enjoying the game.  The game didn't start until 8:30pm, so the little boys didn't last too long.  Eli, Zander and Micah all fell asleep--which made the game more enjoyable for John and I--we didn't have to fight the two little ones who weren't really interested in the ball game.
Of course, the kids loved the Jazz Bear and all his stunts.  It was really pretty amazing that there was always something happening on the floor--game, dancers, and of course, the Bear.
The Jazz did really quite well the first half of the game and managed to stay ahead by at least 10 points, but they kind of fell apart the second half, and the Lakers claimed the victory.
It was still a fun game to watch.  I think everyone had a good time.
Thanks for taking us Grandma and Grandpa!
