School started August 20th. This year in school, Micah is starting first grade. He was excited he got to go with Dad and the kids on the first day and didn't have to wait a week like last year. His teacher is Mrs. Hunt.
Zander is in 3rd Grade this year. They made Mrs. Nelson, our 3rd grade teacher, the ESL teacher (English as a second language) half a day this year. She teaches 3rd grade the other half of the day, and they hired our Title One Specialist, Mrs. Thayn, to teach the other half day of 3rd grade. Zander was excited to have two teachers every day. It's working well so far!
Morgan is in 5th grade this year. Her homeroom teacher is Mr. Parsons. He also teaches the Math Rotation. Ms. Hatt teaches the Reading Rotation and Mr. Hughes (Morgan's Dad) teaches the Writing Rotation. She loves it!
Ian is in 8th grade this year at the high school. Where does the time go? He is serving as his class' president on student council again this year. He enjoys doing it and is a good kid.
