Morgan's baptism

I can't hardly believe that our little girl has turned 8 and it is time for her to be baptized.
Morgan and her daddy.

Those who stood in the circle and helped to confirm Morgan were: Grandpa Millett, Dad, Grandpa Hughes, and Bishop Bayles.  We had quite a bit of family there, but none of my sister's husbands were able to come too.  It was a pretty small circle, but filled with love!
Our family.  Micah was so excited to watch Morgan be "Bap-ta-tized."  He was telling everyone he saw that that's why we were at the church.
Morgan with my parents--Grandma and Grandpa Millett.
Morgan with John's parents--Grandma and Grandpa Hughes.
Morgan in her pretty, pretty dress.  It was quite the feat to find!  We looked online, and didn't find a whole lot that was modest and in our price range.  Is it so hard to add sleeves to things??  Then when we did find a dress, it was either out of stock, or the processing would take up to 3 weeks. (What do they have to do--weave the fabric and make the dress??) We looked when we were in Salt Lake a little bit, and I was so dissapointed.  I mean, we are in Utah, you think I could have found a baptism dress somewhere.  So we went back to our online search.  I was excited to find this one with 2-3 day shipping.  I did have to move the buttons in the back a little so that it fit her better, but I think it looks great.  Morgan says she feels like a princess. (She looks like one too--we even braided her hair up into a crown!)
Thanks to everyone who came to show thier love and support of Morgan.  It was a special day!
Morgan, Daddy and I are so proud of you for making the decision to be baptized.  You are a beautiful Child of God and we are so glad you are part of our family.  You are such a good example to your friends.  We love you very much!  Keep learning and growing in the gospel and continue to expand your testimony. Happy baptism day baby girl!
