Ward Activity

We had a ward activity on Wednesday. It was a dutch oven dinner and fireside at the Green River State Park. It was so yummy! Dutch oven potatoes, hamburger/potatoe/onions/and carrots, homemade scones, and pot luck salads. The fireside was given by Jeff and Karen Acerson. (His parents still live in our ward.) They just returned serving as a mission president in Rome, Italy. They had 3 children serving while they were! Two in different Italy missions, and one in Japan. They joked that no one was homesick because no one was at home! They live in Lindon, Ut. (What our kids allowed us to listen to was wonderful. :)

Jeff and Karen Acerson who gave the fireside.

Two of my handsome guys.
John got a hold of the camera--proof I was there. :)
Before we left the kids wanted to go down to the boat ramp to skip rocks and throw sticks in the water.

It was a nice evening and even nicer to get out of the house. And, I was able to fulfill part of my calling! (Taking pictures for the ward newsletter.)
