Algea Anyone??
So if you haven't heard, our water here in Green River, tastes and smells like algea. Not just a little bit, but like you are sucking on wet moss. (D-I-S-G-U-S-T-I-N-G!!) The city assures us that it is safe to drink, but...when you can smell it and taste it through the frozen concentrate apple juice you made for breakfast, when you take a shower and the entire bathroom smells of algea, when you spend the day doing laundry and all your wet clothes smell of algea until they are dry, and when you can't even stand to use your ice cubes because anything you put them in tastes like algea, it's pretty gross!! I hope the city gets this taken care of soon, or I'm thinking I may turn in my reciepts for the bottles and bottles of water we'll have to purchase to replace our storage! (Not that they'll do anything because it is "safe to drink"--We've heard everything from 2 weeks to 6 weeks before it's back to normal--going on week 3!)
