Baseball season is not over for us yet! Zander started coach pitch last Wednesday (23rd). He had a good time. He got a hit his first time up to bat! Already better at it than Ian. :) Guess that says something about having older siblings that play. Zander started practicing much earlier than Ian did. He hit the ball right to first base, and got out, but they let him run around the bases anyway. He was excited he scored when he made it to homeplate. He asked me if his team won (they don't keep score--every child gets to bat until they hit, and they all get to run the bases). He was fun to watch. He even had to take one of Dad's Powerades to drink--in case he got thirsty. :) I think he's glad that it's his turn to be in the baseball spotlight after watching Ian play for 2 1/2 months! Glad we get to watch you play too, Zander bug!
While we were watching Zander play, Micah picked me this "flower and chum-chum"(aka dandelion). Not sure where he came up with that one!
