Lindey's Birthday

We celebrated Lindey's birthday with a quiet family party.  Each year we have usually invited those who helped us when I was so sick after Lindey was born. This year marks the beginning of a new era. We no longer live by any of our angels, so we will party by ourselves!
Lindey loves Hello Kitty, so she got a lot of it!
An activity pack...
A stuffed ballerina Hello Kitty.
Love, love, love her face in this one! She got a Tinkerbell night light card. Lol

Her own box of Cookies and Cream Pop Tarts. She loves those things.

One of her birthday requests was a new carseat that had purple on it. Lol
Wish granted...it even has flowers. Lol- she loved it!

We made Lindey a Hello Kitty cake. It turned out perfect!

Happy birthday, missy! We love you very much! Can't believe you are FOUR!!

Birthday Part 2...and 3....

On January 29th, Grandma and Grandpa Hughes came over to visit and brought Morgan's birthday gifts with them.  They got her a bunch of new clothes and she was excited!

On the 30th, she had a little friend party at the house and her friends brought her some small gifts.
Jocelyn, Mallory, Avery, McKenna, Alison, and Sydney came to her friend party.

All in all, its been a great week for this 12 year old!  Happy Birthday, Morgan!

Morgan's 12th Birthday

Morgan turned 12!  She wanted a kitty cake this year.  I think it turned out pretty cute!

She got a cute little Polar Bear that shivers when you touch it's nose.  She gave one to her friend Jocelyn at the beginning of the month for her birthday, and really wanted one.  It was so cute!
She also got a rubber band loom.
A make up bag with her very own make up in it.

She got  a new pair of shoes.
This girl loves fuzzy socks!  These ones are infused with Aloe to sooth and soften feet.
Grandma and Grandpa Millett delivered with the squirrel items this year.  It's her favorite animal.  They gave her a set of matching plates.  She is planning to use them for her jewelry on the top of her dresser.
They also gave her a felted animal book with all the supplies to make them. Of course, one of the animals was a squirrel.

Being the birthday girl, she got all the peeps and extras on top of the cake. :)
So glad Suzette's family could come and celebrate with us!
Happy 12th Birthday baby girl!  We are so glad you are part of our family.  You are a huge help to us and a great sister.  We love you!

Ian's Birthday

We celebrated Ian's birthday in Green River.  That was his one wish, was to go back and spend it with his friend.  The Robertson's graciously hosted the party at their house.  Man, we love those guys!
Ian wanted a red velvet cake, so we had to make it a University of Utah cake.
Ian and Kollin are Ute fans. Go Utes!

Kristin decorated their back porch for the party.  See?? She is totally awesome!!
We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs...well, Scott and Kristin did. :)

The gift table.
We went inside to open up the gifts.  It was getting pretty windy out there!
Ian was excited to get to wear the t-shirts he picked out a few weeks before.
He's been wanting a Utah University hat for a while.  He was pretty excited!
We got him a couple of new Disney Infinity characters for his game.
Cards from Grandma(s).
Something tells me he was the most excited about Kollin's gift to him.  New basketball shorts, a bag and a flashlight. :)
Our sad little cake after it was accidentally dropped.  Luckily, it was mostly the edges that were ruined and we were able to salvage it.

Making a wish...
...and blowing out the candles.
Sure do love you buddy.  Hope you had a great birthday!  I'm glad you have picked such great friends who are willing to go above and beyond to spoil you rotten!
