The local chapter of the Beta Zeta Sororety puts together a luncheon for all the veterans in town every year. John was asked to sing again this year. He decided to involve the kids, so Ian, Morgan, and Zander sang with him. They sang "Thank You Military". (For those of you who have ever been to Hope of America in Provo with your 5th graders, I think it is one of the songs they learn for that program.) I ended up playing the piano for the other lady that sang. Actually our keyboard--the piano at the Senior Citizen Center is horribly out of tune. We were laughing because we think they used the exact same program as last year, right down to the MC. LOL It turned out well, and we were complimented. One lady even told me that if we weren't careful we were going to be giving the Osmonds a run for their money when our kids get older. (LOL--Yeah, right!) :) It was a nice compliment though. I only took this one picture, which isn't very good, but I recorded the rest of the song as a movie, so maybe John can help me get it uploaded, or upload it on his blog.
