Our little Micah is at it again...

Micah lately has learned a new word.  I'm not sure where he heard it (it's not something I say on a regular basis).  But anytime he is asked to do anything--good, bad, or ugly--his reply is, "Never, NEVER!!"  Sometimes it's funny, but he says it after everything, so it is getting kind of annoying.

Micah is also really into putting together puzzles right now.  I'm kind of impressed that he can do them so well.  He can put together 24 piece puzzles with no help at all, and the other day I helped him put together a 100 piece puzzle.  Once I had the border done he started complaining to me, "Mom, move!  You're in my way!" So, he pretty much did the rest of it by himself.  On Friday evening, he was putting together his favorite Toy Story 24 piece puzzle, and Eli walked by him. Not toward him to destroy anything (I know, a miracle, huh?), just past him. Without even glancing up Micah said, "Disappear Eli, disappear."  John and I both started laughing.  I'd never heard him say that one before, and no, I do not tell my children to "disappear" when I don't want them around. LOL

One more thing about Micah...On Saturday we were outside enjoying the evening, letting the kids play and such, and just before we came inside Micah had grabbed one of the pumpkin stems and said, "Ouch!  Do you know pumpkins have slivers?" We laughed a little and I didn't think much more about it until we came inside and he was complaining about having a sliver in his finger.  I sat him on the kitchen counter to get a better look.  I couldn't see or find anything, but he kept on saying that, "It's right here," and pointing to his finger.  He was fussing a little bit, and I told him,"I'm sorry, I can't see it to get it out."  He hung his head and said,"Just get the ice cream."
We love our Micah!  I love kids at this age.  This seems to be the time when the funniest things come out of their mouths. I'm sure I'll be posting more Micah-isms soon! Stay tuned...
