I love you!

Can I just say that I love this man? He is the best Father and Husband. He makes me want to try harder and be better. I've been going through a rough patch where I don't feel adequate in most aspects of my life--especially at being a mom. I asked John to give me a blessing the other morning, and that was just what I needed. I'm thankful for personal revelation and especially for a husband that honors his priesthood so that I can be blessed by it. I'm feeling much better about life now, and just wanted to give John that little shout out. I love you!

I have some sad news...my sister--the one pictured in the above post--informed me last night that she will be moving to Pennsylvania! (sniff, sniff) I'm crying buckets of tears over here--lets just say that put a damper on the feeling better about life now part I mentioned a minute ago. I'm happy for them to begin a new chapter in thier life and make 2010 a better memory than the last year, but do they have to move so far away??? (sigh) I'll stop whining now and be the good supportive older loving sister I should be. :) You'll be missed something fierce, and as my wonderful husband put it--thank heavens for free mobile to mobile!

Also, Adrienne and Justin we hope you have a great day as you bless your little Leah! We wish we could be there with you. Hugs and Kisses!

Well, I finally decided to do it. After many conversations with my sister of "You really need a blog..." , "No, I don't think I do..." , "If you had a blog you could post about that..." "I don't need/want one more thing to do...", "John's blog is nice and all, but it's not really about your family...", "If you started a blog I would help you make it all cute and stuff..." (I'm holding you to this one!), "It could be like a journal for you..."," You need a blog to post pictures on..." ,"You don't have to post every day..." All that and I had Nichole's name for Christmas. :) So, Merry Christmas Nichole! :) Here is the Hughes News in all it's debuting glory. I don't promise to post every day (she said I didn't have to :)), but hopefully you all can stay more caught up with my life. Love you Nichole, and thanks for talking me into this!
