Raking up the Leaves

While I was teaching piano lessons inside, John and the kids went out and raked up the leaves.  They didn't have a lot of time before John had to teach voice lessons, and it was suppose to rain the following day, so they had to hurry.  John was able to snap a few pictures of the kids playing in the leaves before they finished up and bagged the leaves.

John got the cutest pictures of Lindey! She is so excited to be playing in the leaves!

Fun Fall Afternoon

We found it funny that our one little tree left in the front yard lost all it's leaves on one cold night.  The were nicely piled under the tree and made the job of raking them up much easier.  The kids were looking forward to playing in the pile of leaves, so we let them. 

This was Eli's first experience with playing in a leaf pile, and he thouroughly enjoyed it!  He was all smiles and giggles.  It was fun to watch him experience that for the first time. :)

The other kids were throwing leaves on Micah and he was giggling away.

 Zander made us a leaf angel.

 Morgan is turning into quite the poser when the camera comes out!  What a cute girl!

It was a fun and fairly warm afternoon.  Don't think we'll be getting too many more of them.  Glad the kids were able to get out and enjoy the sunshine!  (Ian wasn't interested in playing in the leaves, and that is why he is not pictured.  Must be growing up!)
