More Pumpkins

Life was pretty crazy in October, so Grandma Hughes didn't get around to taking us to the pumpkin patch like she usually does until late in the month.  By the time we went, there were no longer any pumpkins in the patch, so we went to the stand to get the kid's pumpkins.  They each picked out their favorite.

Lindey kept calling this her banana.  Not sure why, but we had to bring this gourd home for her. :)
Eli thought he had found his favorite pumpkin...
but changed his mind last minute and went with this taller one.

Thanks, Grandma Hughes! Now we have pumpkins we can carve, and others to leave on the porch for the rest of the Fall holidays. October 28, 2013

Wrestling with Grandma

I don't remember exactly how it started, but Grandma started chasing Zander.  When she caught up to him, she wrestled him to the ground.
It didn't take long for the other kids to join in and dogpile on Grandma Hughes.

Grandma's New Toy

Grandma Hughes bought a new yard toy for the grandkids to play on.  John helped to put it together.  The kids were so excited they could hardly stay away from it long enough for it to be assembled.
John and his dad tightening the final bolts.
All ready for play!
Eli had a hard time climbing up, but soon had it figured out and could scramble to the top with the rest of them.  He's quite the little monkey!
